So after a bit of time spent, I have managed to create a functional backend module which is capable of importing and exporting reviews and ratings.
The features are:
-- Added light-weight grid to show the reviews same as Magento’s default one. The good part is, it does not use bulk eav joins like the default one does.
-- Bulk “Update Status” and “Delete” options.
-- Each row can be edited as default Magento’s review grid using “Edit”. Removed Magento infamous prototype code to disregard functionality of click-able grid.
-- The grid can be exported in default Magento’s CSV/XML format.
-- Grid is filterable as per each column.
-- Simple “Import Reviews” button to import reviews from a CSV.
-- The date of the each review can be changed or can be used the original date, yes you HEARD IT RIGHT!
-- No core module dependency or whatsoever!
-- Installation/Uninstalltion of the module DOES NOT AFFECT any part of existing store.
-- No licence necessary and 1 month free support.
